The AIHM is an inter-professional association of integrative clinicians who embrace a person-centered, team-based approach to healthcare. Consciousness and Healing Initiative (CHI)
CHI is an international collaborative accelerator, bringing together scientists, health practitioners, innovators, educators, and artists to explore the science and real-world application of consciousness and healing practices. CHI fosters a global movement to place healing at the center of our consciousness, promoting healthier societies and sustainable stewardship of the planet. Their mission is to evolve the scientific understanding of healing so that individuals and communities are empowered to ignite their own healing potential.
Feeding America & San Diego
Feeding America is the largest charity working to end hunger in the United States. Partnering with food banks, food pantries, and local food programs, Feeding America brings food to people facing hunger, and advocates for policies that create long-term solutions to hunger. Established in 2007, Feeding San Diego is the leading hunger-relief and food rescue organization in San Diego County and the only Feeding America partner food bank in the region. Feeding San Diego is on a mission to connect every person facing hunger with nutritious meals by maximizing food rescue.
Maiti Nepal
Friends of MAITI Nepal is a nonprofit fighting human trafficking and supporting survivors in Nepal. It partners with communities and agencies to raise awareness, prevent trafficking, and provide rehabilitation. The organization empowers survivors through education, vocational training, and psychological support, working to rebuild lives and promote social justice.
The Center for Indigenous Health (TCIH)
The Center for Indigenous Health (TCIH) is a nonprofit organization focused on improving the health and well-being of Indigenous communities. The organization works to address health disparities by providing culturally relevant healthcare services, promoting wellness education, and advocating for policies that support Indigenous health. TCIH collaborates with Native American tribes and communities to deliver health programs that incorporate traditional healing practices alongside modern medicine. Through its initiatives, the center aims to empower Indigenous peoples, improve access to healthcare, and create sustainable, community-driven solutions to health challenges.
Women Heart
The National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease (Women Heart) was founded in 1999 by three women, Nancy Loving, Jackie Markham, and Judy Mingram who had heart attacks while in their 40s and faced many obstacles, including misdiagnosis, inadequate treatment, and social isolation. They each shared a common experience about how little information or services were available for women with heart disease. Women Heart’s mission is to improve the lives of women with or at risk for heart disease while fighting for equity in heart health.
iSight Missions
iSight travels the world restoring vision to impoverished adults and children in developing countries. iSight’s goal is to empower local eye care providers to establish self-supporting eye clinics to offer permanent care to impoverished persons. Self-supporting eye clinics are being established with local physicians dedicated to serving the less fortunate in Mexico, the Caribbean and South Pacific.
Solution for change
Solutions for Change is a nonprofit committed to solving family homelessness through our Solutions University program. The unique program is a 1,000 day partnership that equips families with the skills, knowledge and resources that create amazing life transformations. It’s not just a housing solution, it’s a “change your life” solution. The focus is creating strong, independent families that are capable of pursuing every opportunity they want in life, from raising a happy family, to creating a successful career, to buying a home and sending kids to college. Each adult in the program follows an individualized program crafted to meet his or her goals.
Monarch School, San Diego, CA
Monarch School is a public K-12 institution dedicated to serving students experiencing homelessness or impacted by homelessness. This remarkable school provides a safe and supportive environment where students can thrive academically and personally, regardless of their circumstances.
Center for Community Solutions, San Diego
The Center for Community Solutions provides a comprehensive range of multidisciplinary services for individuals affected by sexual and relationship violence. Their core services include legal assistance, emergency shelter, professional psychotherapy, education, prevention, and advocacy, offering critical support to those in need.
Community Resource Center (CRC), Encinitas
CRC offers education on domestic violence, crisis intervention skills, and outreach programs that create pathways to safety, stability, and self-sufficiency for individuals and families in crisis.
LightBridge Hospice & Palliative Care, San Diego
LightBridge provides compassionate hospice and palliative care, helping patients and their families navigate the final stages of life with grace, strength, and hope. Their dedicated team ensures that each day is filled with comfort, peace of mind, and cherished memories for patients and their loved ones.
Tariq Khamisa Foundation
The Tariq Khamisa Foundation (TKF) is a nonprofit organization focused on preventing youth violence and promoting peace through education and awareness. Founded in honor of Tariq Khamisa, a young man tragically killed in a senseless act of violence, the foundation works to address the root causes of violence and offer solutions that foster compassion, respect, and understanding. TKF’s programs focus on conflict resolution, empathy, and the importance of making positive choices. Through outreach to schools, communities, and at-risk youth, the foundation aims to break the cycle of violence and create safer, more peaceful environments.
Healing Beyond Borders (HBB)
HBB's mission is to spread healing and light worldwide through the heart-centered practice and teaching of Healing Touch. A membership organization, HBB provides education and credentialing in Healing Touch. The organization educates and certifies Healing Touch Practitioners and Instructors, coordinates Healing Touch research and assists integration of Healing Touch into healthcare settings.
The Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health
The Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health (Consortium), a program of the George Mason University Center for Climate Change Communication (4C), organizes major medical societies representing over 1 million physicians and health professionals.
